The Company - Bburago S.p.A.
Bburago was founded in 1974 by Mario Besana, Cavaliere del Lavoro (pop up), currently President of the Company.
The Company, thanks to the high quality of its models and to its attention-to-detail, has distinguished itself from its very beginning for the production of die cast model cars with an excellent rapport between quality and price, succeeding to gain share in both the toy market and the model car collectors market.
From that time, the line of Bburago models - presented in the three principle scales (1:18 / 1:24 / 1:43) - has continued to grow.
The Company owes its success to the faithful reproduction of real models obtained through agreements with the major Car Manufacturers, with whom licensing contracts are signed for the reproduction of car models in miniature.
Today Bburago is a reality, quite complex, structured in numerous production units and present in more than 90 countries around the world.
The Product
Bburago offers always a product of quality, which combines the fun of play with the passion of collecting.
Its catalog includes more than 400 models faithfully reproduced in the three primary scales (1:18 / 1:24 / 1:43), from the most common of cars to the most sportive of models, and every year there are new models launched to enrich the overall line.
There are saloon cars, coupe's, spiders, pick-ups, off-road vehicles, racing and competition models, as well as cars which have made automotive history, such as the elegant Mille Miglia. In addition, Bburago has signed an agreement with Disney to produce car models linked to major Disney characters, obtaining a great success with the general public, especially among children, but also among adults.
Bburago hasn't stopped there: it recently inaugurated a unique experience in the panorama of car collecting: 'Prima,' the jewel signed by Bburago and GGiugiaro Design, the unique example of a miniature model in real scale.

Modeltruck Onderdelen Service
In 1979 werd gestart met de 'N.A.M.AC. Onderdelenservice' van de Nederlandse Algemene Miniatuur Auto Club. Op 1 juni 1980 werd deze onderdelen service door ons overgenomen en voortgezet als 'Modeltruck Onderdelen Service', voorlopig nog als partime bedrijf.
Per 1 oktober 2002 werd onze activiteit fulltime en gingen wij verder als Modeltruck Onderdelen Service V.o.f.
Gedurende deze tijd is onze activiteit uitgegroeid tot een 'specialisatie in onderdelen voor miniatuur vrachtwagens schaal 1:50'.
Het leveringsprogramma bestaat nu uit onderdelen en zelfbouwsets van Tekno, zelfbouwsets van vrachtwagenmodellen van Minitrucks en MJM, accessoires in wit-metaal, metaal, kunstof en stickers/transfers. Daarnaast worden ook modellen aangeboden van vrachtwagens, kranen en grondverzet. Wij leveren aan verzamelaars, wederverkopers en de miniatuurmodellen industrie.
